Indoor soccer captains' guide
We know how much work it is to captain a team, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the job done. This guide will show you the ins and outs.
No rule changes this season
We haven't updated the rules since last season, but one to keep in mind is that you need 4 roster players by game time (:05 on the clock) to start the game. Subs from other teams or outside the league who aren't on your roster don't count. Please confirm with the other team captain and the coordinator if you need to forfeit a game.
First game is Thursday, Jan. 11
The Thursday league starts Jan. 11 and please pay attention to the location on the schedule — this season, games will either be at Caroline Robins School or École College Park School.
Jan. 11 — all games at Caroline Robins School.
Jan. 18 & 25 — games at either Caroline Robins School or École College Park School.
Feb. 1-15 — all games at École College Park School.
Feb. 22 — no games; facilities unavailable.
Feb. 29 — games at either Caroline Robins School or École College Park School.
March 7 & 14 — games at École College Park School.
March 21 — no games; facilities unavailable.
March 28 — Playoffs at École College Park School.
Games will be at either 6, 7, 8 or 9 PM. There are no double headers or byes this season.
Playoffs between the top 4 teams will be on March 28 with the semi-finals at 7 and 8 PM, and the final at 9 PM.
Sign the waiver to play
Your teammates must sign the waiver to play! We'll be using the roster registered through the waiver to determine the winning team prize count at the end of the season. Waiver link: https://airtable.com/app1THIgeKcIAggh5/shrBkZnhd3HIToNaC
Spirit Awards
If a player on the opposing team shows good sportsmanship during the game, let the coordinator know! When you nominate someone, you get a nomination, too. Individuals or teams with the most nominations at the end of the season will be awarded a Spirit Award prize. You can also nominate players online.
