Safety measures

We take every precaution we can to ensure Play Sask participants and spectators have a fun, enjoyable, and safe experience. Some of the safety measures we take include:

• Supervision; a Play Sask employee will be present at every game.

• Providing a first aid kit.

• Facilities rented by Play Sask will be equipped with accessible fire exits.

• For certain sports, players will be required to wear safety equipment, as outlined in the rules.

Captains are responsible for ensuring their team follows the Play Sask code of conduct, and rules for their league. In the event of an emergency, captains will be responsible for evacuating their teammates.

All players must be 19 years of age or older to participate. Any children in attendance at outdoor Play Sask events must be accompanied by a dedicated adult minder. No children are allowed at indoor facilities.
